Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the public BX Productions website handles information when you browse its pages or choose to load its videos.

Information collected and why

• Website delivery: Cloudflare, our hosting and network provider, processes connection information such as an IP address, requested URL, request time, and browser or network details to deliver pages and help protect the service.
• Your privacy choice: This website stores your selected categories, a policy version, and the time and expiry of your choice in your browser. The site does not send that preference record to a BX database.
• Optional video: If you allow Functional content, the YouTube player connects to Google. Google can receive your IP address, browser information, the referring website, and interactions with the player. Its own policies govern its handling of that information.
• Messages you choose to send elsewhere: If you contact the team through Discord, the team can see your account name and the information you include. Do not send information that is unnecessary for your request.

Content management and security records

Server-side infrastructure manages and updates website video listings. Restricted content maintenance uses password authentication, a short-lived secure cookie, and server-side permission checks. Passwords are stored as hashes, not readable passwords. We record successful and failed sign-ins, publication events, and temporarily retain hashed network identifiers for rate limiting. These records protect content integrity; they are not visitor analytics.

Contact forms and marketing

There is no contact form on this website, so it does not submit names, email addresses, subjects, or messages to a form service. Visiting the site or contacting the team does not subscribe you to marketing email. The Discord link opens an external service.

Analytics, cookies, and browser storage

The site does not install analytics or marketing scripts and does not set authentication cookies during ordinary public browsing. It uses the local storage record bx_privacy_consent_v1 to remember your privacy choice. This record is necessary to respect that choice. It contains no name, email address, or randomly assigned visitor ID.

YouTube may use cookies or similar storage after its player loads. The privacy-enhanced player may show non-personalized ads. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean that Google receives no data. The player is blocked globally until you explicitly allow Functional content. See the Cookie Policy for the current storage inventory.

Third-party services and data sharing

Cloudflare handles website delivery and server-side content requests. Supabase stores published video links and titles and supports secure content updates. Public pages request this content through our server; no optional YouTube player loads until Functional consent. Google/YouTube handles optional video playback. Links to YouTube, Discord, and Roblox lead to separate services; they are not social or shopping widgets embedded in the page. No map or Vimeo embed is used. Linked services receive information when you visit them and apply their own terms and privacy policies.

This site's code contains no mechanism for selling personal information or sharing it for cross-context behavioral advertising. This statement describes the website's configuration, not independent practices of linked services. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by law or to address a security incident.

Providers can process information in countries other than your own. Read their policies for their international processing arrangements: Cloudflare, Supabase, Google, Discord, and Roblox.

Data retention

Your privacy preference remains valid for 180 days from your last saved choice. An expired record is removed the next time the website checks it, and optional content is blocked until you choose again. Browser storage can physically remain on an unused device until it is removed or the site is revisited. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

There is no public registration or form-submission database. Published video information remains until replaced or removed. Maintenance sessions expire after 10 minutes. Rate-limit records expire after 15 minutes. Expired records and security events older than 30 days are deleted on the next sign-in attempt; inactive records may remain until that cleanup runs. Cloudflare and Google apply their own service-specific retention practices; this site does not control those periods. Messages sent through Discord remain subject to Discord's policies and the team's handling of your request. Contact the team to ask about retention or deletion of a particular message.

Security

The website is designed for HTTPS delivery, limits permitted scripts and embedded content, and restricts content changes through server-verified authentication. These measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security. Avoid sending sensitive information through public channels.

Your choices and privacy rights

Use Cookie Settings on any page to change your choice or select Reject Non-Essential to withdraw Functional consent. This removes the embedded player and prevents new connections from it on this page. Withdrawal does not undo information already sent to a provider or delete cookies held on another domain; use that provider's controls or your browser settings for those.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, restrict or object to its use, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy authority. Contact the team to make a request. Only provide information needed to identify your request; further verification may be needed to protect other people's information.

California and other privacy laws

Where applicable, California law provides rights to know, access, correct, and delete personal information; opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising those rights. Availability depends on the law's scope, exceptions, and the information involved. The website offers the same consent controls to all visitors.

No advertising or sale/sharing technology is enabled by this website, including when a browser sends Global Privacy Control. That signal does not prevent you from separately choosing to load the optional YouTube player. Cookie consent is not consent to unrelated data uses.

Children's privacy

This public site offers information about gaming videos and the BX community. It does not ask for children's names, ages, email addresses, or other submissions, and it has no registration or upload form. Children should not send personal information through the linked community services. A parent or guardian who believes a child has shared personal information with the team can contact us to request review and deletion where appropriate. A cookie choice is not verifiable parental consent.

Changes to this policy

Changes will be reflected in the Last Updated date. If the site's optional data uses change, the choice interface and this policy will be updated before those uses are enabled, and a fresh choice will be requested where needed.
